Glasgow care home hosts fun-filled afternoon for BBC Music DayResidents at Darnley Court care home in Glasgow enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon as they welcomed St Paul’s High School to join in with their BBC Music Day celebrations.

The Wellbeing Coordinator at Darnley Court styled the conservatory with musical themed decorations and records for the occasion, as Residents were joined by their loved ones for a musical tea in the afternoon.

Pupils from St Paul’s High School sang along with Residents, as some even played the guitar.

The local Sainsbury’s also got involved with the day as it donated a huge selection of delicious cakes to the home.

The home also held a musical-themed cake-naming competition, with entries such as Macaroon 5, The Scone Roses, David Brownie and Don’t Go Breaking My Tart, which won first place.

Residents loved the day, with one saying: “That was such a fun and lovely afternoon with great cakes and fantastic company.”
