Glasgow care home Resident learns new computer skillElizabeth, a Resident at HC-One’s Darnley Court care home in Glasgow decided to put down her pen and paper to learn how to use the computer to write her letters for her pen pals at other HC-One care homes.

A number of Residents at Darnley Court are now enjoying regular contact with Residents at other HC-One care homes via a pen pan scheme, but Elizabeth decided to use the opportunity to learn how to use the home’s computer to write her letters digitally.

It was a great experience, Elizabeth commented on how much she enjoyed learning a new skill and is looking forward to putting it into practice for her next letter.

Darnley Court Home Manager, Katy Jenks commented: “What a lovely experience for Elizabeth, it’s great to see Residents embracing technology and learning new skills.”
