Fundraising success as Invergordon care home hosts celebratory partyCastle Gardens care home in Invergordon was delighted to host a fantastic fundraising day for its Residents and their loved ones.

Guests were delighted with the entertainment on offer, which included a performance from talented musician Addie Harper and the North Coast Fiddlers, who kindly offered to drop in during their tour and play for free.

Everyone loved the music as they sang, danced and clapped along to the beat.

Castle Gardens’ Chef provided some delicious burgers and Boston beans for everyone to enjoy, while a local farmer also loaned the home some square bales to add an authentic effect to the decorations.

Colleagues at the home were delighted with the fundraising totals, as they raised £235 in ticket sales and a further £150 in kind donations.

Lorna McLeod, Home Manager at Castle Gardens, said: “It was lovely to see so many Residents singing, dancing and smiling with their families. It was a fantastic day and we can’t wait to host more events like this in the future too.”
