Residents at HC-One’s Elstree Court care home were delighted to be in receipt of some kind messages from members of the local community, so much so that they decided to create their own.
Everyone came together as they drew and coloured in their own rainbows, writing a few words of kindness alongside each one.
The wonderful pictures have since been placed in the front windows of the home to promote positivity in the local community.
Residents in the home also enjoyed creating some separate kindness statements to share around the home for all to see and admire.
Yolanda De Castro, home manager, commented: “During this difficult time, it’s nice to remain positive and strong to support one another. This is a great way to spread positivity.”
