Colleagues at HC One’s Bankwood care home have been coming up with different themes for their ‘stop at 3 for tea’.
Staff started with a French theme at the Duffield home, with pain au chocolat, choc chip brioche and brie on French bread.
This week it is Italian week, so kitchen assistant Lisa will be making Tiramisu and putting out a variety of coffee with biscotti to keep with the theme.
The home has also been following the ‘Our Yesterday’ activity sheets with ‘cheese day’, ‘ladies drinks’ and also ‘fudge day’ on the tea trolley.
Lisa also did pureed apple with toffee sauce so there was something for everyone.
One of the Residents said “its lovely tasting all these different flavours and having variety”, another commented “Brie of my favourite!”
