HC One’s Bankwood care home received some wonderful comments from the local MP today.
Two of the Duffield care homes lovely Relatives had written to the local MP following the government’s announcement regarding care homes.
It upset a few of the homes Relatives as they know how hard everyone at the home works, and they are so grateful for all the staff do to keep their loved ones safe during these difficult times. They wanted to do something to sing the homes praises which was very touching.
As a response to the email sent by the homes Relatives, the local MP replied with some lovely comments as she has also been to Bankwood for an open day and summer fairs in previous years too.
Some of the email from the MP read “I am extremely pleased to hear how well Bankwood Care Home has managed during the pandemic and the systems they have put in place to respond to the ever changing circumstances at this difficult time. I have previously visited Bankwood Care Home and I have seen the wonderful facilities that they have and the range of activities that are on offer to residents.”
It really makes the home feel so appreciated to hear such positive messages from Relatives and the local community.
The home manager said “I am proud of all my staff for their hard work.”
