Residents at HC One’s Bankwood care home enjoyed singing songs filled with positivity today.
Everyone at the Duffield care home joined in by singing ‘somewhere over the rainbow’ to keep their spirits up, keeping in mind there will be a rainbow once this awful pandemic is over.
Colleagues and Residents made rainbow flags to wave with happiness, whilst singing some old songs too.
Afterwards everyone enjoyed coffee and cake, a lovely way to end a happy day.
One of the Residents said “I enjoyed the afternoon, it was lovely to forget what’s going on with the pandemic and just enjoy remembering good times and singing the old songs.”
