Residents at HC-One’s Defoe Court care home enjoyed a recent trip to Preston Park as they visited Butterfly World.
Everyone enjoyed walking around the attraction as they noticed the beautifully coloured patterns on each of the butterflies who flew around. Residents found it so amusing when a butterfly landed on them, as they watched the fish swimming in the pond.
They entered the animal enclosure as they watched the meerkats playing with one another, and chatted about the variety of other creatures on display.
The day was complete as they enjoyed a visit to the tea rooms for an afternoon tea and slice of cake as they spoke of their afternoon.
