Community joins forces to transform garden at Goole care homeThe local community has joined forces to help transform the garden for Residents living at Windsor Court care home in Goole.

After Colleagues at the home recently planted three mini fruit trees, ideas came thick and fast from Residents and Relatives on how to further improve the garden.

A local organisation kindly donated and erected a fence and gate at Windsor Court, providing a secure mini orchard area for Residents to enjoy.

Men in Sheds, a local community group based near the home, are also helping Colleagues to build raised beds in the garden for Windsor Court to introduce a gardening group.

Patricia Owen, Home Manager at Windsor Court, said: “We are so grateful to everyone who has helped us with our garden project. The people from Men in Sheds have been brilliant and our Residents already can’t wait to see the final product.”
