Chippenham care home think about life after Covid-19Colleagues at HC One’s Avon Court care home spoke with Residents today about the things they are looking forward to when the pandemic is over.

The response was mixed from Residents at the Chippenham care home. Many of course missed having visitors and seeing their loved ones and was the main response overall.

However many also spoke about the small things they had taken for granted, such as shopping trips or just trips in general, like going out for a pub lunch or wandering around a garden centre.

One Resident, Philip, really wants to go fishing when lockdown is over. John, Pamela and Vera are all just looking forward to getting outdoors on trips again.

Residents enjoyed thinking ahead to the things they can look forward to, it’s a nice change than thinking about what is going on right now.
