Residents at HC-One’s Avon Court care home in Chippenham have had their artwork showcased on the homes stairwell after painting some lovely photos to brighten up the home.
Colleagues at Avon Court thought that the home could be improved with some colourful artwork, so they tasked Residents to creating and colouring in some lovely photos so that they could be showcased across the home.
Each Resident had their own picture to colour in, with numbers in different sections that correlated to a colour. Some Residents even drew their own pictures and helped others colour in their pictures.
Once complete the pictures were framed and hung up in the homes stairwell as it needed some nice bright pictures to help brighten up the area a little more.
Avon Court Resident Pamela Ofield said: “It was lovely seeing my work on the walls, lots of staff have said how nice it looks.”
The Residents have loved seeing their work displayed throughout the home and Colleagues have been telling them how nice the home looks now.
