Chippenham care home Residents keep in touch with familyResidents at HC-One’s Avon Court in Chippenham have been getting creative to help keep them in touch with their loved ones throughout lockdown.

Through lockdown, Residents have been using video calls to keep in touch with their loved ones. But Residents and Colleagues wanted to go an extra step further and send Relatives some lovely cards and pictures.

Colleagues assisted Residents in creating mini scrapbooks to show their loved ones some of the things they have been doing throughout the lockdown. All the Residents thought it was a lovely idea and really enjoyed making the scrapbooks.

John, a Resident at Avon Court said: “I love the fact that it is reassuring my family that I am keeping active through lockdown.

With lockdown and visiting restrictions now easing across the country, hopefully Residents will be reunited with their families very soon and visiting can become a major part of their lives again.
