Debbie, a Resident at HC-One’s Branston Court care home has a love of gardening, so much so that she has decided to take it up as a hobby in the home.
After purchasing books on bedding plants, Debbie enjoys getting up each morning to spend her days in the gardening, arranging the flowers and ensuring the garden looks colourful and bright with flowers and plants.
She enjoys spending her time in the fresh air, and the recent wonderful warm weather has been welcomed by her as she has been able to spend time in the sunshine.
Pauline Gardiner, home manager, commented: “It’s lovely to see Debbie take up such a nice hobby like this one, it’s refreshing for her to be outside in the sunshine regularly and we love to see the flowers she plants.”
