Residents at HC-One’s Old Gates care home were delighted as Colleagues introduced a new room in the home – a relaxation room in the style of a spa.
The room, named ‘The Sanctuary’, was created after Colleagued decided they should create something particularly special for Residents to enjoy – somewhere for them to feel pampered.
The relaxation room has been a wonderful introduction into the home, with a therapeutic and tranquil environment created for Residents to enjoy various treatments form hand massages and nail treatments, to head massages.
Residents are already looking forward to using the new area of the home, remarking at how lovely it will be to experience such relaxing ambience.
Home Manager, Helen Holden, commented: “It’s been such a great transformation – the idea is such a thoughtful one and I can’t wait to have the Residents enjoy themselves being pampered.”
