Staff and Residents at HC One’s Avonpark care home celebrated VE Day today.
The Bath care home celebrated VE Day differently to how they had planned, however made it a great day even in lockdown.
Alexander Heights, Fountain Place and Hillcrest House Residents all enjoyed a lovely evening buffet, followed by a delicious VE cake, all provided by the kitchen staff.
Flags and bunting were put up in each unit and along the trees outside so Residents could see from their windows.
The day was enjoyed by all and Residents told tales of their experience on this day 75 years ago.
