Somerset care home, The Glen, today baked cookies. Eight Residents attended a mini baking class where they all had wonderful fun making delicious treats.
Some Residents including George, Sue, Barbara D, Bill, Gwen, Barbara and Jackie. made heart and star shaped cookies which were all decorated beautifully. These were then eaten in the early evening on the tea round.
One Colleague said that it was lovely for the Residents to spend time together in a small group and they loved being able to make different shapes, “The smiles they had on the afternoon when they were eating their creations was brilliant to see!”
