Ashton-Under-Lyne care home have joyful sing-a-long afternoonHC One’s Daisy Nook care home had their regular entertainer visit the car park to sign songs to the Residents who listened at the windows.

Colleagues at the Ashton-Under-Lyne care home wanted to keep things as normal as possible and stress free for all of the Residents at the home, so invited regular entertainer Deborah to come along and sing for everybody from the car park.

Deborah was delighted to come along and sing for the Residents. She was keen to brighten up everybody’s day singing a number of uplifting songs for everyone to join along with.

Locals in the surrounding area even joined in with the live sing-a-long by standing at their front doors listening and singing away. Residents also video called their families so they could join in from home too!

The care home team put up plenty of colourful bunting and balloons, as well as dressing up in silly outfits, dancing along to the music in the car park. The day was filled with fun and laughter which is what everybody needs in this difficult time.

Barbara and Doreen, two of the Residents from the home commented “It was brilliant, we have really enjoyed it!”

Home manager Tracey said “I am so proud of my team, they have kept the spirits high and continue to do so every day in these difficult times. We are all so proud to be in the care sector.”
