Mr Jack Morris is a Resident at Hurst Hall care home, he loves his family very much and really enjoys daily visits from them. The Covid Pandemic has left him not being able to see his great grandchildren whom he loves to sit and bounce them on his knee and share a few chocolates with.
On Monday morning when Jack received some post he was very happy to see that his great granddaughter had made him some pictures. He held on to them tight and didn’t want to let go.
Una, part of the wellbeing team, asked if he wanted her to put them in his bedroom for him to see when he is in his room and he replied that he wanted them where he can see them.
Jack had commented, “This has made my day, seeing such love from my family”.
Jack was very impressed with the way Una had displayed the pictures.
Una remarked, “This made Jack very happy and he was singing Frank Sinatra all afternoon! I haven’t seen him this happy since before the pandemic started”.
