Today Residents from Gittisham Hill House in Honiton, Devon, had a day of flower arranging.
Jill watts and Marie Bourne form the Wellbeing team at Gittisham and organised the session which went down very well. Everyone enjoyed seeing the lovely summery colours and examining the different species of flowers. Lots of the Residents took a keen interest in what was going on and the flowers certainly brightened up the home.
Jenny Monk, Senior Carer, commented, “Look at all those lovely flowers, it makes you smile!”
Particularly Residents Susan, Pamela and Julie (pictured) thoroughly got involved in the activity. Susan said, “I always like to see flowers around the home”.
Jill reflected on the day, “It just makes you feel better seeing all the bright colours.”
