Residents at Amber Lodge care home in Armley, Leeds were delighted to prepare the home for Harvest Festival 2019 with some beautiful autumnal decorations.
Senior Care Assistant Sophie came up with an idea to decorate the home’s entrance with all things autumnal, as she set to work on making some amazing paper mache pumpkins.
Sophie brought in her paper mache crafts for Residents to paint in lovely orange and red colours, to add to the autumnal theme.
Residents were delighted with the display, as Joyce said: “I love all the pumpkins.”
Sophie added: “I’ve really enjoyed doing this for the home, I feel like the display will help put a smile on everyone’s faces.”
Rachael Hall, Home Manager at Amber Lodge, said: “Residents have enjoyed helping Sophie decorate the entrance, it’s a lovely thing to do for the home and we have had lots of visitors comment on it already”.
