Residents at Meadow Bank House care home in Bolton enjoyed an unusual encounter as Zoolab visited the home.
The Zoolab representative brought a number of exotic creatures with her, including two rats, a giant African snail, a millipede, tarantula, a South American large cockroach and a snake.
The visit gave Residents the opportunity to learn more about each animal, while some even bravely touched and held the creatures as they discovered more about their habitats, diets and lifespans.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the activity and gave the representative a round of applause at the end.
One Resident said: “I really enjoyed that”, while another added: “All of a sudden, just like that, I want a rat as a pet.”
