Celebrations were in the air at HC-One’s The Polegate care home as Resident, Barbara, celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary alongside her husband and Relatives.
The couple enjoyed an afternoon of celebration as they were serenaded by performer Curtis who visited the home, as well as a variety of songs and poems from their daughters and granddaughter.
The home provided the couple with a bouquet of flowers and balloons, as well as an afternoon tea which was enjoyed by all.
An emotional day was had by all, memories were shared and Barbara and her husband spoke of their marriage and the various things they did together over the years.
Emma Rich-Spice, home manager, commented: “It’s such a privilege to celebrate this anniversary with Barbara and her family and friends.”
