Fun filled week at Eastbourne care homeResidents at HC-One’s Coppice Court care home in Eastbourne have enjoyed some fun filled days with a trip to the local pub and Comic Relief activities.

On Friday 15th March, Residents and members of the care team got into the spirit of Comic Relief to try and raise awareness and funds for the British charity, founded in 1985, which strives to create a just world, free from poverty.

The highlight of Comic Relief's appeal is Red Nose Day, the team at the home organised a variety of activities including a cake stall, raffle, quiz and a ‘guess the cupcake’ competition. A great time was had by all, with Coppice Court raising an impressive £125 for Comic Relief.

On Tuesday 19th March, four Residents visited Beachy Head for a delicious pub lunch, accompanied by members of the care team. Everyone shared stories and laughter before the food arrived, Residents commented on how lovely the food was.
