A lovely donation has recently been made to Residents at
Priory Gardens care home in Pontefract by a lovely Relative.
Debra Bentley is the daughter of Residents of Kenneth and Dorothy Bentley who live in Priory Gardens.
For a short while Debra has been fundraising for the 76-bed residential, nursing and residential dementia care home and raise a huge amount of £510!
Debra organised an Easter raffle in the local pubs, The Ancient Borough Arms and The Malt Shovel which are both in Pontefract town centre.
With the money raised Debra bought three therapy pets which have gone down a treat with the Residents. All the Residents have loved interacting and petting the new furry friends.
Everyone is so thankful for Debra for the support she has given to Priory Gardens and the fantastic amount of money raised for the Residents.
Allison Gill, Care Home Manager, commented, “It is so wonderful to be supported by the local community and we can’t thank them enough for their amazing fundraising.”
